Issuance of the RFGP does not
constitute an award commitment on the
part of the Government. The Bureau
reserves the right to reduce, revise, or
increase proposal budgets in accordance
with the needs of the program and the
availability of funds. Awards made will
be subject to periodic reporting and
evaluation requirements per section VI.3
above.

The Department of
Transportation, Office of the Secretary
of Transportation, announces a meeting
of the FAAC Subcommittee on
Financing, which will be held at the
offices of the General Aviation
Manufacturers Association, in
Washington, DC. This notice announces
the date, time, and location of the
meeting, which will be open to the
public. The purpose of the FAAC is to
provide advice and recommendations to
the Secretary of Transportation to
ensure the competitiveness of the U.S.
aviation industry and its capability to
manage effectively the evolving
transportation needs, challenges, and
opportunities of the global economy.
The Subcommittee on Financing will
address the need for a stable, secure,
and sufficient level of funding for our
aviation system and make
recommendations to the Secretary for
action. This is the second meeting of the
subcommittee.
DATES: The meeting will be held on
August 17, 2010, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Eastern Daylight Time.
