accuracy of the agency’s estimate of the
burden of the proposed collection of
information; (3) Enhance the quality,
utility, and clarity of the information to
be collected; and (4) Minimize the

Rental Assistance Subsidy
Determinations.

Information and its Proposed Use: Data
are collected on a sample of households
receiving HUD housing assistance
subsidies. These households are
interviewed and their incomes verified
to determine if subsidies are correctly
calculated. The study identifies the
costs and types of errors. The results are
used to target corrective actions and
measure the impact of past corrective
actions.
