2010. On April 27, 2010, the Ashley
National Forest mailed a scoping letter
and a project area map to affected
landowners, tribes, concerned citizens,
special interest groups, local
governments, and any other interested
parties to comment on the scope of the
proposed action. This information is
also available on our Web site https://
www.fs.fed.us/r4/ashley/projects/.
It is important that reviewers provide
their comments at such times and in
such manner that they are useful to the
agency’s preparation of the
environmental impact statement.
Therefore, comments should be
provided prior to the close of the
comment period and should clearly
articulate the reviewer’s concerns and
contentions.

National Advisory Council on Maternal,
Infant and Fetal Nutrition will meet to
continue its study of the Special
Supplemental Nutrition Program for
Women, Infants and Children (WIC),
and the Commodity Supplemental Food
Program (CFSP). The agenda will
include updates and a discussion of
WIC Reauthorization, Breastfeeding
Promotion, the new WIC food packages,
WIC funding, Electronic Benefits
Transfer (EBT), CSFP Farm Bill
provisions, and current research studies.

Notice of the Peanut Standards Board
AGENCY: Agricultural Marketing Service,

ACTION: Notice; request for nominations.
SUMMARY: The Farm Security and Rural
Investment Act of 2002 requires the
Secretary of Agriculture to establish a
Peanut Standards Board (Board) for the
purpose of advising the Secretary on
quality and handling standards for
domestically produced and imported
peanuts. The initial Board was
appointed by the Secretary and
announced on December 5, 2002. USDA
seeks nominations for individuals to be
considered for selection as Board
members for terms of office ending June
30, 2011, June 30, 2012 and June 30,
2013. USDA values diversity. In an
