National Forest mailed a scoping letter
and a project area map to affected
landowners, tribes, concerned citizens,
special interest groups, local
governments, and any other interested
parties to comment on the scope of the
proposed action. This information is
also available on our Web site https://
www.fs.fed.us/r4/ashley/projects/.
It is important that reviewers provide
their comments at such times and in
such manner that they are useful to the
agency’s preparation of the
environmental impact statement.
Therefore, comments should be
provided prior to the close of the
comment period and should clearly
articulate the reviewer’s concerns and
contentions.

SUMMARY: The Siskiyou, OR Resource
Advisory Committee will meet in Grants
Pass, Oregon. The committee is meeting
as authorized under the Secure Rural
Schools and Community SelfDetermination Act (Pub. L. 110–343)
and in compliance with the Federal
Advisory Committee Act. The purpose
of the meeting is to review and
recommend projects submitted for
funding under Title II of The Secure
Rural Schools and Community SelfDetermination Act of 2000, review
existing projects, and elect a
chairperson.
DATES: The meeting will be held July 20,
2010, 9 a.m.
