Direct Deposit payment to the correct

Abstract: This regulation requires that

institution that offers such accounts.

Exempt from Federal Income Tax.
OMB Number: 1545–0213.
Form Number: Form 5578.
Abstract: Every organization that
claims exemption from Federal income
tax under Internal Revenue Code section
501(c)(3) and that operates, supervises,
or controls a private school must file a
certification of racial nondiscrimination.
Such organizations, if they are not
required to file Form 990, must provide
the certification on Form 5578. The
Internal Revenue Service uses the
information to help ensure that the
school is maintaining
nondiscriminatory policy in keeping
with its exempt status.
Current Actions: There are no changes
being made to the form at this time.
Type of Review: Extension of a
currently approved collection.
Affected Public: Not-for-profit
institutions.
