Description: Twelve CFR 32.7(a) provides special lending limits for 1–4 family residential real estate loans, small business loans, and small farm loans for eligible national banks. National banks that seek to use these special lending limits must apply to the OCC, under 12 CFR 32.7(b), and receive approval before using the exceptions. The OCC needs the information in the application to evaluate whether a bank is eligible to use the special lending limits and to ensure that the bank’s safety and soundness will not be jeopardized. Affected Public: Businesses or other for-profit. Burden Estimates: Estimated Number of Respondents: 40. Estimated Number of Responses: 40. Estimated Annual Burden: 1,040 hours.
