Abstract: Applicants with a disability who are seeking a position at VA complete VA Form 0857c to request reasonable accommodation such as an interpreter or adaptive equipment during the application and interview process. In order to substantiate their VerDate Nov<24>2008 15:04 Apr 16, 2010 Jkt 220001 claim for reasonable accommodation, applicants must complete VA Form 0857e to authorize their provider to release medical information to VA. The data collected will be used to determine the applicant’s entitlement to reasonable accommodation. An agency may not conduct or sponsor, and a person is not required to respond to a collection of information unless it displays a currently valid OMB control number. The Federal Register Notice with a 60-day comment period soliciting comments on this collection of information was published on February 10, 2010, at page 6792.     The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) gives notice under Public 
Law 92-463 (Federal Advisory Committee Act) that the National Research 
Advisory Council will hold a meeting on Tuesday, May 11, 2010, in room 
GL-20 at the Greenhoot Cohen Building, 1722 Eye Street NW., Washington, 
DC. The meeting will convene at 9:30 a.m. and end at 4 p.m. The meeting 
is open to the public.
    The purpose of the Council is to provide external advice and review 
for VA's research mission. The agenda will include a review of the VA
