Written statement should address the following detail: the issue, discussion, and a recommended course of action. Supporting documentation may also be included as needed to establish the appropriate historical context and to provide any necessary background information. Individuals desiring to submit a written statement may do so through the Board’s Designated Federal Officer (DFO) (see FOR FURTHER INFORMATION CONTACT) at any point. However, if the written statement is not received prior to the meeting, which is subject to this notice, then it may not be provided to or considered by the Department of Defense Task Force on the Prevention of Suicide by Members of the Armed Forces until the next open meeting. SUMMARY: Pursuant to section 10(a), Public Law 92–463, as amended, notice is hereby given of a forthcoming meeting of the Defense Department Advisory Committee on Women in the Services (DACOWITS). The purpose of the meeting is for the Committee to vote on the findings and recommendations of the 2009 report. The meeting is open to the public, subject to the availability of space.
