Part 2 DOE is interested in identifying issues related to the Buy American provisions that may not be well understood by grantees. DOE intends only to rely on the questions submitted for the purpose of potentially developing future guidance, should such guidance be necessary. The types of businesses most likely to be subject to the standard include, but are not limited to: organic liquid storage terminals, petroleum refineries, chemical manufacturing facilities, and manufacturing facilities using organic materials.
