Notice is hereby given that, on
December 28, 2009, pursuant to Section
6(a) of the National Cooperative
Research and Production Act of 1993,
15 U.S.C. 4301 et seq. (‘‘the Act’’), the
Institute of Electrical and Electronics
Engineers (‘‘IEEE’’) has filed written
notifications simultaneously with the
Attorney General and the Federal Trade
Commission disclosing additions or
changes to its standards development
activities. The notifications were filed
for the purpose of extending the Act’s
provisions limiting the recovery of
antitrust plaintiffs to actual damages
under specified circumstances.
Specifically, 22 new standards have
been initiated and seven existing
standards are being revised. More detail

On September 17, 2004, IEEE filed its
original notification pursuant to Section
6(a) of the Act. The Department of
Justice published a notice in the Federal
Register pursuant to Section 6(b) of the
Act on November 3, 2004 (69 FR 64105).
The last notification was filed with
the Department on July 6, 2009. A
notice was published in the Federal
Register pursuant to Section 6(b) of the
Act on August 3, 2009 (74 FR 38473).

Act of 1993—DVD Copy Control
Association
Notice is hereby given that, on
December 3, 2009, pursuant to Section
6(a) of the National Cooperative
Research and Production Act of 1993,
15 U.S.C. 4301 et seq. (‘‘the Act’’), DVD
Copy Control Association (‘‘DVD CCA’’)
has filed written notifications
simultaneously with the Attorney
General and the Federal Trade
Commission disclosing changes in its
membership. The notifications were
filed for the purpose of extending the
Act’s provisions limiting the recovery of
antitrust plaintiffs to actual damages
under specified circumstances.
Specifically, Quatius Limited, Kowloon,
HONG KONG-CHINA has been added as
a party to this venture. Also, Futarque
A/S, Aalborg, DENMARK; Hyo Seong
Techno Corporation, Seoul, REPUBLIC
OF KOREA; OPT Corporation, Naganoken, JAPAN; and Shinano Kenshi Co.,
Ltd., Nagano-ken, JAPAN have
withdrawn as parties to this venture.
No other changes have been made in
either the membership or planned
activity of the group research project.
Membership in this group research
project remains open, and DVD CCA
intends to file additional written
notifications disclosing all changes in
membership.
On April 11, 2001, DVD CCA filed its
original notification pursuant to Section
6(a) of the Act. The Department of
Justice published a notice in the Federal
Register pursuant to Section 6(b) of the
Act on August 3, 2001 (66 FR 40727)
The last notification was filed with
the Department on September 4, 2009.
A notice was published in the Federal
Register pursuant to Section 6(b) of the
Act on October 27, 2009 (74 FR 55258)

AGENCY: Occupational Safety and Health
Administration (OSHA), Labor.
ACTION: Notice of public meeting.
SUMMARY: The Occupational Safety and
Health Administration (OSHA) is
announcing a public meeting to solicit
comments and suggestions from
stakeholders on key issues facing the
agency.
DATES: The public meeting will be held
on February 10, 2010, from 9 a.m. to 5
p.m. Persons interested in attending the
meeting must register by February 3,
2010. In addition, comments relating to
the ‘‘Scope of Meeting’’ section of this
document must be submitted in written
or electronic form by March 30, 2010.
