The overall goal is to use information science and information technology to identify, collect, and organize information from the MCH field that is not readily available from other information sources and to make the information available for application by the MCH community in a timely, easy-to-access manner. Due to an unanticipated delay in the issuance of the funding opportunity announcement for this grant program, the award of non-competitive funding for the period January 1, 2010, to March 31, 2010, to Georgetown University is necessary. In early fiscal year 2010, an open competition will take place for this grant program.
