This
notice informs the public that the
Department of Housing and Urban
Development has submitted to OMB a
request for approval of the Information
collection described below. This notice
is soliciting comments from members of
the public and affecting agencies
concerning the proposed collection of
information to: (1) Evaluate whether the
proposed collection of information is
necessary for the proper performance of
the functions of the agency, including
whether the information will have
practical utility; (2) Evaluate the
SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION:
accuracy of the agency’s estimate of the
burden of the proposed collection of
information; (3) Enhance the quality,
utility, and clarity of the information to
be collected; and (4) Minimize the
burden of the collection of information
on those who are to respond; including
through the use of appropriate
automated collection techniques or
other forms of information technology,
e.g., permitting electronic submission of
responses.

and Services Interventions for Homeless
Families.

Description of the Need for the
Information and Its Proposed Use: The
purpose of this study is to test
experimentally the effects of various
housing and service interventions on
homeless families, including subsequent
housing stability and adult and child
well-being.

days from the date of receipt to file an
appeal.
Parties who do not file an appeal in
accordance with the requirements of 43
CFR Part 4, Subpart E, shall be deemed
to have waived their rights.

surface and subsurface estates in certain
lands for conveyance pursuant to the
Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act

Alaska, and are located in:

Environmental Impact Statement for
Disposition of the Former Bureau of
Mines Twin Cities Research Center
Main Campus, Minnesota
SUMMARY: Pursuant to Section 102(2)(C)
of the National Environmental Policy
Act of 1969, 42 U.S.C. 4332(2)(c), the
National Park Service (NPS) announces
the availability of a final Environmental
Impact Statement (EIS) for disposition
of the former Bureau of Mines Twin
Cities Research Center Main Campus
(Center), Hennepin County, Minnesota.
DATES: The final EIS will remain
available for public review for 30 days
following the publishing of the notice of
availability in the Federal Register by
the U.S. Environmental Protection
Agency.

available from the Superintendent,
Mississippi National River and
Recreation Area, Suite 105, 111 Kellogg
Boulevard East, St. Paul, Minnesota

SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: The NPS

24, 2007) during which time the NPS
distributed over 275 copies of the draft.
The draft was also made available at the
park offices, on the Internet, and at area
