SUMMARY: As required by 43 CFR
2650.7(d), notice is hereby given that an
appealable decision approving the
surface estate in certain lands for
conveyance pursuant to the Alaska
Native Claims Settlement Act will be
issued to Port Graham Corporation, for
the Native village of Port Graham. The
lands are in the vicinity of Port Graham,
Alaska, and are located in:

Containing approximately 1,090 acres.

The subsurface estate in these lands
will be conveyed to Chugach Alaska
Corporation when the surface estate is
conveyed to Port Graham Corporation.
Notice of the decision will also be
published four times in the Anchorage
Daily News.
DATES: The time limits for filing an
appeal are:
1. Any party claiming a property
interest which is adversely affected by
the decision shall have until January 13,
2010 to file an appeal.
2. Parties receiving service of the
decision by certified mail shall have 30
days from the date of receipt to file an
appeal.
Parties who do not file an appeal in
accordance with the requirements of 43
CFR Part 4, Subpart E, shall be deemed
to have waived their rights.

Environmental Impact Statement for
the Proposed Pacific Solar
Investments Inc., Amargosa North
Solar Project, Nye County, NV
AGENCY: Bureau of Land Management,
Interior.
ACTION: Notice of intent.
SUMMARY: In compliance with the
National Environmental Policy Act
(NEPA) of 1969, as amended, the Bureau
of Land Management (BLM) Pahrump,
Nevada Field Office intends to prepare
an Environmental Impact Statement
(EIS) for a right-of-way (ROW)
application submitted by Pacific Solar
Investments, Inc. for a solar energy
generation project. By this notice, the
BLM is announcing the beginning of the
scoping process to solicit public input
on the identification of issues.
DATES: Comments on this Notice of
Intent may be submitted in writing until
February 12, 2010. The date(s) and
location(s) of any scoping meetings will
be announced at least 15 days in
advance through local media,
newspapers, and the BLM Web site at:
https://www.blm.gov/nv/st/en/fo/
lvfo.html. In order to be considered by
the BLM, comments must be received
prior to the close of the scoping period
or 15 days after the last public meeting,
whichever is later. The BLM will
provide additional opportunities for
public participation upon publication of
the Draft EIS.
