6(a) of the Act. The Department of
Justice published a notice in the Federal
Register pursuant to Section 6(b) of the
Act on August 3, 2001 (66 FR 40727).
The last notification was filed with
the Department on June 5, 2009. A
notice was published in the Federal
Register pursuant to Section 6(b) of the
Act on July 15, 2009 (74 FR 34364).

Notice is hereby given that, on
September 4, 2009, pursuant to Section
6(a) of the National Cooperative
Research and Production Act of 1993,
15 U.S.C. 4301 et seq. (‘‘the Act’’), DVD
Copy Control Association (‘‘DVD CCA’’)
has filed written notifications
simultaneously with the Attorney
General and the Federal Trade
Commission disclosing changes in its
membership. The notifications were
filed for the purpose of extending the
Act’s provisions limiting the recovery of
antitrust plaintiffs to actual damages
under specified circumstances.
Specifically, China Hualu Group, Ltd.,
Dalian, People’s Republic of China; JVC
Kenwood Holdings, Inc., Kanagawa,
Japan; and SIIX Corp., Osaka, Japan
have been added as parties to this
venture.
Also, A&A Stamper House, Inc.,
Baldwin Park, CA; Evatone, Inc.,
Clearwater, FL; Kat Digital Corp.,
Taipei, Taiwan; Kenwood Corporation,
Tokyo, Japan; Polar Frog Digital,
Scottsdale, AZ; Sea Star Technology
(Hong Kong) Company Ltd., Hong Kong,
Hong Kong-China; Shenzhen Sea Star
Technology Co., Ltd., Shenzhen,
People’s Republic of China; Soaring
Technology Co., Ltd., Taipei-Hsien,
Taiwan; Victor Company of Japan,
Limited, Kanagawa, Japan; and Zentek
Technology Japan, Inc., Tokyo, Japan
have withdrawn as parties to this
venture.
No other changes have been made in
either the membership or planned
activity of the group research project.
Membership in this group research
project remains open, and DVD CCA
intends to file additional written
notifications disclosing all changes in
membership.

Notice is hereby given that, on
October 5, 2009, pursuant to Section
6(a) of the National Cooperative
Research and Production Act of 1993,
15 U.S.C. 4301 et seq. (‘‘the Act’’),the
National Consumer Panel, LLC has filed
written notifications simultaneously
with the Attorney General and the
Federal Trade Commission disclosing
(1) the identities of the parties to the
venture and (2) the nature and
objectives of the venture. The
notifications were filed for the purpose
of invoking the Act’s provisions limiting
the recovery of antitrust plaintiffs to
actual damages under specified
circumstances.
Pursuant to Section 6(b) of the Act,
the identity of the parties to the venture
are: The Nielsen Company (‘‘Nielsen’’),
New York, NY; and Information
Resources, Inc. (‘‘IRI’’), Chicago, IL. The
general area of The National Consumer
Panel’s planned activity is to collect
consumer panel data for Nielsen and IRI
to use in creating and providing their
respective products.
