The meeting will be held from 2:30 to 4 p.m. at the Hyatt Regency Denver Tech Center, 7800 East Tufts Avenue, Denver, Colorado 80237. NIJ is hosting this workshop specifically to introduce manufacturers to the revised NIJ Walkthrough Metal Detector Standard and the revised NIJ Handheld Metal Detector Standard that are under development and to receive feedback. Participants are strongly encouraged to come prepared to ask questions and to voice suggestions and concerns. Space is limited at this workshop, and as a result, only 50 participants will be allowed to register. We request that each manufacturer limit their representatives to no more than two per organization. Exceptions to this limit may occur, should space allow. Participants planning to attend are responsible for their own travel arrangements. SUMMARY: The Department of Labor, as part of its continuing effort to reduce paperwork and respondent burden conducts a pre-clearance consultation program to provide the general public and Federal agencies with an opportunity to comment on proposed and/or continuing collections of information in accordance with the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995 (PRA95) [44 U.S.C. 3506 (c)(2)(A)]. This program helps to ensure that requested data can be provided in the desired format, reporting burden (time and financial resources) is minimized, collection instruments are clearly understood, and the impact of collection requirements on respondents can be properly assessed. Currently, the Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA) is soliciting comments concerning the extension of the information collection related to the 30 CFR sections 57.5047; Gamma Radiation Exposure Records.
