The submission describes the nature of the information collection, the categories of respondents, the estimated burden (i.e., the time, effort and resources used by respondents to respond) and cost, and includes the actual data collection instruments FEMA will use. SUMMARY: The Federal Emergency Management Agency, as part of its continuing effort to reduce paperwork and respondent burden, invites the general public and other Federal agencies to take this opportunity to PO 00000 Frm 00057 Fmt 4703 Sfmt 4703 comment on a proposed revision of a currently approved information collection. In accordance with the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995, this Notice seeks comments concerning the use of the Mapping Needs Update Support System Data Worksheet to collect data on flood hazard mapping needs enabling FEMA to be more responsive to ongoing changes affecting flood hazard areas that occur in communities participating in the NFIP. These changes include, but are not limited to, new corporate limit boundaries, changes in the road network, and changes in flood hazard areas, which affect communities’ flood risks.
