The form provides the IRS with the information necessary to determine that the tax has been properly computed. Current Actions: This form has been revised for the 2009 tax year with three fewer checkboxes that are no longer applicable. This deletion resulted in a burden decrease of 27,085 hours resulting in a new total burden of 5,244,139 hours. Type of Review: Revision of a currently approved collection.
