Pursuant to Section 14(a)(2)(A) of the
Federal Advisory Committee Act, 5
U.S.C. App., and in accordance with
Title 41 of the Code of Federal
Regulations, Section 102–3.65, and
following consultation with the
Committee Management Secretariat,
General Services Administration, notice
is hereby given that the Fusion Energy
Sciences Advisory Committee has been
renewed for a two-year period.
The Committee will provide advice to
the Office of Science (DOE), on longrange plans, priorities, and strategies for
advancing plasma science, fusion
science and fusion technology—the
knowledge base needed for an
economically and environmentally
attractive fusion energy source. The
Secretary of Energy has determined that
the renewal of the Fusion Energy
Sciences Advisory Committee is
essential to the conduct of the
Department’s business and in the public
interest in connection with the
performance of duties imposed upon the
Department of Energy by law. The

environmental analysis at this time.
n. The proposed 2.0-megawatt (MW)
Inglis Project would operate in a run-ofriver mode by using flows released to
maintain the surface elevation of Lake
Rousseau at 27.5 feet mean sea level
(msl). Flow releases are determined by
the Southwest Florida Water
Management District (WMD). The
proposed powerhouse would be 60-footlong by 80-foot-wide by 30-foot-high,
and contain three vertical shaft turbines.
The penstock would be 130 feet in
length. The project would generate
about 12.3 gigawatt hours (GWH)
annually, which would be fed into the
interconnected transmission system via
an existing 3.4-mile-long, 12,470-kV
transmission line.
