Notice of a public meeting.
SUMMARY: The New England Fishery
Management Council (Council) is
scheduling a public meeting of its
Research Steering Committee
(Committee), in August, 2009, to
consider actions affecting New England
fisheries in the exclusive economic zone
(EEZ). Recommendations from this
group will be brought to the full Council
for formal consideration and action, if
appropriate.
DATES: The meeting will be held on
Thursday, August 6, 2009 at 9:30 a.m.

The
Council’s Research Steering Committee
will meet to review final reports
associated with cooperative research
projects that have been conducted in the
New England region. Approximately 12
projects will be reviewed with respect to
their applicability to management
decision-making. They cover a range of
topics including habitat, social science,
and fishing gear selectivity in the red
crab, sea scallop and dogfish fisheries.
Results of the RSC’s review session will
be reported to the full Council at it’s
September meeting in Plymouth, MA.
Although non-emergency issues not
contained in this agenda may come
before this group for discussion, those
issues may not be the subject of formal
action during this meeting. Action will
be restricted to those issues specifically
listed in this notice and any issues
arising after publication of this notice
that require emergency action under
section 305(c) of the Magnuson-Stevens
Act, provided the public has been
notified of the Council’s intent to take
final action to address the emergency.

A request for clarification of scope has
been submitted to the Foreign-Trade
Zones Board (the Board) by IPR
Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (IPR), operator of
IPR’s pharmaceuticals manufacturing
operations within FTZ 7, in Canovanas,
Puerto Rico.
Manufacturing authority for
pharmaceuticals and intermediates at
IPR’s FTZ 7 manufacturing facilities was
issued on December 14, 2001 (Board
Order 1203, 67 FR 71934, 12/03/2002).
IPR listed in the original application
specific component/product
manufacturing which would be
performed at the outset and also listed
categories of components and products
which might be sourced from abroad in
the future. IPR has now informed the
Board that future production will
involve the use of an imported
ingredient that was not specifically
listed as a foreign-sourced component in
the original manufacturing request. The
company intends to use a foreignsourced active ingredient, AZD0530
difumarate (HTSUS 2934.99.3000—
6.5%), in production of difumarate
tablets (HTSUS 3004.90.9115—dutyfree).
The FTZ staff invites the comments of
interested parties for consideration in its
review. Submissions shall be addressed
to the Board’s Executive Secretary at the
address listed below. The closing period
for their receipt is August 21, 2009.
