SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: Notice is
hereby given that, in a letter dated June
11, 2009, the President amended the
cost-sharing arrangements regarding
Federal funds provided under the
authority of the Robert T. Stafford
Disaster Relief and Emergency

(the ‘‘Stafford Act’’), in a letter to W.

I have determined that the damage in
certain areas of the State of Iowa resulting
from severe storms, tornadoes, and flooding
during the period of May 25 to August 13,

Therefore, I have amended the declarations
of May 27, 2008, June 30, 2008, and

W. Bush, to authorize Federal funds for
debris removal and emergency protective
measures (Categories A and B), including
direct Federal assistance, under the Public
Assistance program, at 100 percent of total
eligible costs for 14 consecutive days.
