this Line of Succession. Instead, the
next non-acting incumbent in the Line
of Succession shall serve as Acting
Administrator.
(d) This designation shall remain in
full force and effect until revoked or
superseded in writing by the
Administrator, or by the Deputy
Administrator when serving as Acting
Administrator.
(e) Serving as Acting Administrator
has no effect on the officials listed in
subparagraphs (a)(1) through (6), above,
with respect to their full-time position’s
authorities, duties and responsibilities
(except that such official cannot both
recommend and approve an action).

A, Revision 30: Effective immediately,
the Administrator’s Line of Succession
Designation is as follows:
(a) In the event of my inability to
perform the functions and duties of my
position, or my absence from the office,
the Deputy Administrator will assume
all functions and duties of the
Administrator. In the event the Deputy
Administrator and I are both unable to
perform the functions and duties of the
position or are absent from our offices,
I designate the officials in listed order
below, if they are eligible to act as
Administrator under the provisions of
the Federal Vacancies Reform Act of
1998, to serve as Acting Administrator
with full authority to perform all acts
which the Administrator is authorized
to perform:
(1) Chief of Staff;
(2) General Counsel;
(3) Counselor to the Administrator;
(4) Associate Administrator for
Management and Administration;

Sunshine Act Meeting
Notice is hereby given, pursuant to
the provisions of the Government in the
Sunshine Act, Public Law 94–409, that
the Securities and Exchange
Commission will hold a Closed Meeting
on Thursday, June 11, 2009 at 2 p.m.
Commissioners, Counsel to the
Commissioners, the Secretary to the
Commission, and recording secretaries
will attend the Closed Meeting. Certain
staff members who have an interest in
the matters also may be present.
The General Counsel of the
Commission, or his designee, has
certified that, in his opinion, one or
more of the exemptions set forth in 5
U.S.C. 552b(c)(5), (7), 9(B) and (10) and
17 CFR 200.402(a)(5), (7), 9(ii) and (10),
permit consideration of the scheduled
matters at the Closed Meeting.
Commissioner Aguilar, as duty
officer, voted to consider the items
listed for the Closed Meeting in a closed
session.
The subject matter of the Closed
Meeting scheduled for Thursday, June

No. 1-A, Revision 29''
Line of Succession Designation No. 1-A, Revision 30: Effective
immediately, the Administrator's Line of Succession Designation is as
follows:
(a) In the event of my inability to perform the functions and
