Renewal of information collection.
(2) Title of the Form/Collection:
Nonimmigrant Checkout Letter.
(3) Agency form number, if any, and
the applicable component of the
Department of Homeland Security
sponsoring the collection: Form G–146,
U.S. Immigration and Customs
Enforcement.
(4) Affected public who will be asked
or required to respond, as well as a brief
abstract: Primary: Individual or
Households, Business or other nonprofit. The information collected on the
Form G–146 is necessary for U.S.
Immigration and Customs Enforcement
(ICE) to determine if an individual or
business is exempt from the Electronic
Funds Transfer requirements of the Debt
Collection Improvement Act by meeting
certain conditions.
(5) An estimate of the total number of
respondents and the amount of time
estimated for an average respondent to
respond: 25,000 responses at 30 minutes
(.50 hours) per response.
(6) An estimate of the total public
burden (in hours) associated with the
collection: 12,500 annual burden hours.
