Meeting of the National Drinking Water
Advisory Council—Notice of Public
Meeting
AGENCY: Environmental Protection
Agency (EPA).
ACTION: Notice.
SUMMARY: Under Section 10(a)(2) of
Public Law 92–423, ‘‘The Federal
Advisory Committee Act,’’ notice is
hereby given of a meeting of the
National Drinking Water Advisory
Council (NDWAC), established under
the Safe Drinking Water Act, as
amended (42 U.S.C. 300f et seq.). The
Council will consider various issues
associated with drinking water
protection and small public water
systems. The Council will also receive
updates about several on-going activities
including rulemakings related to the
Total Coliform Rule, Geologic
Sequestration, and the Aircraft Drinking
Water Rule and efforts underway to help
the water sector improve their resiliency
to potential effects of climate change.
DATES: The Council meeting will be
held on May 27 and 28, 2009, from 8
a.m. to 5 p.m., each day.

Pesticide Reregistration Performance
Measures and Goals
AGENCY: Environmental Protection
Agency (EPA).
ACTION: Notice.
SUMMARY: This notice announces EPA’s
progress in meeting its performance
measures and goals for pesticide
reregistration during fiscal year 2008.
The Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and
Rodenticide Act (FIFRA) requires EPA
to publish information about EPA’s
annual achievements in this area. This
notice discusses the integration of
tolerance reassessment with the
reregistration process, and describes the
status of various regulatory activities
associated with reregistration and
tolerance reassessment. The notice gives
total numbers of chemicals and
products reregistered, Data Call-Ins
issued, and products registered under
the ‘‘fast-track’’ provisions of FIFRA.
DATES: This notice is not subject to a
formal comment period. Nevertheless,
EPA welcomes input from stakeholders
and the general public. Written

This action is directed to the public
in general. Although this action may be
of particular interest to persons who are
interested in the progress and status of
EPA’s pesticide reregistration and
tolerance reassessment programs, the
Agency has not attempted to describe all
the specific entities that may be affected
by this action. If you have any questions
regarding the information in this notice,

B. What Should I Consider as I Prepare
My Comments for EPA?
1. Submitting CBI. Do not submit this
information to EPA through
regulations.gov or e-mail. Clearly mark
the part or all of the information that
you claim to be CBI. For CBI
information in a disk or CD ROM that
you mail to EPA, mark the outside of the
disk or CD ROM as CBI and then
identify electronically within the disk or
CD ROM the specific information that is
claimed as CBI. In addition to one
complete version of the comment that
includes information claimed as CBI, a
