A brief period will be set aside at the meeting for public comment. SUMMARY: As a result of the determinations by the Department of Commerce (‘‘Department’’) and the International Trade Commission (‘‘ITC’’) that revocation of the existing antidumping duty (‘‘AD’’) order on barium carbonate from the People’s Republic of China (‘‘PRC’’) would likely lead to continuation or recurrence of dumping and material injury to an industry in the United States within a reasonably foreseeable time, the Department is publishing this notice of continuation of the AD order. EFFECTIVE DATE: March 17, 2009. SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: Background On September 2, 2008, the Department initiated a sunset review of the antidumping duty order on barium carbonate from the PRC pursuant to section 751(c) of the Tariff Act of 1930, as amended (‘‘Act’’). See Initiation of Five-year (‘‘Sunset’’) Review, 73 FR 51275 (September 2, 2008); see also Antidumping Duty Order: Barium Carbonate from the People’s Republic of China, 68 FR 56619 (October 1, 2003).
