Agenda: The committee will discuss
issues related to the development of
drugs for the treatment of tuberculosis,
including drug resistant tuberculosis.
Areas of discussion include diagnosis,
treatment duration, study design (such
as endpoints and duration of followup)
and safety issues.
FDA intends to make background

or before May 8, 2009. Time allotted for
each presentation may be limited. If the
number of registrants requesting to
speak is greater than can be reasonably
accommodated during the scheduled
open public hearing session, FDA may
conduct a lottery to determine the
speakers for the scheduled open public

notify interested persons regarding their
