SUMMARY: EPA has granted an
experimental use permit (EUP) to the
following pesticide applicant. An EUP
permits use of a pesticide for
experimental or research purposes only
in accordance with the limitations in
the permit.

EPA has issued the following EUP:
264–EUP–140. Amendment and
Extension. Bayer CropScience, P.O. Box
12014, 2 T. W. Alexander Drive,
Research Triangle Park, North Carolina
27709. This EUP allows the use of 0.03
pound of the plant-incorporated
protectant Bacillus thuringiensis
Cry1Ab protein in events T303–3 and
T304–40 cotton plants on 152 acres (out
of 1,602 total acres) planted to Cry1Abcontaining cotton to evaluate the control
of lepidopteran larvae such as bollworm
(Helicoverpa zea) and tobacco budworm
(Heliothis virescens). The program is
authorized only in the States of
Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, California,
Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi,
North Carolina, South Carolina,
Tennessee, Texas, and in Puerto Rico.
The EUP is effective from January 1,
2009 to December 31, 2010.

SUMMARY: This notice announces that
pesticide related information submitted
to EPA’s Office of Pesticide Programs
(OPP) pursuant to the Federal
Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide
Act (FIFRA) and the Federal Food, Drug,
and Cosmetic Act (FFDCA), including
information that may have been claimed
as Confidential Business Information
(CBI) by the submitter, will be
transferred to Computer Sciences
Corporation and its subcontractor,
KFORCE and Insight Global, in
accordance with 40 CFR 2.307(h)(3) and
2.308(i)(2). Computer Sciences
Corporation and its subcontractor,
KFORCE and Insight Global, have been
awarded a contract to perform work for
OPP, and access to this information will
enable Computer Sciences Corporation
and its subcontractor, KFORCE and
Insight Global, to fulfill the obligations
of the contract.
