The survey will be used to better understand visitor experiences and spending in the local community. Respondents will have the option to complete the survey on-site or return it by mail. We will use this survey to measure visitor satisfaction with current visitor services and facilities and their desire for future services and facilities. Information from this survey will provide BLM managers, planners, and visitor services professionals with scientifically sound data that can be used to prepare resource management planning documents and understand the economic impact of visitors to the local community. We will protect information from respondents considered proprietary under the Freedom of Information Act (5 U.S.C. 552) and implementing regulations (43 CFR part 2), and under regulations at 30 CFR 250.197, ‘‘Data and information to be made available to the public or for limited inspection.’’ Responses are voluntary.
