U.S. Citizenship and Immigration
Services.
(4) Affected public who will be asked
or required to respond, as well as a brief
abstract: Primary: Individuals or
Households. The information collected
on this form is used by U.S Citizenship
and Immigration Services (USCIS) to
determine whether the applicant is
eligible for a waiver of excludability
under section 212 of the Immigration
and Nationality Act.
(5) An estimate of the total number of
respondents and the amount of time
estimated for an average respondent to
respond: 17,500 responses at 11⁄2 hours
per response.
(6) An estimate of the total public
burden (in hours) associated with the

information is used by FHA to verify
that lenders meet all approval, renewal,
update and compliance requirements at
all times. It is also used to assist FHA
in managing its financial risks and
protect consumers from lender
noncompliance with FHA rules and
regulations.
The application form 11701 that was
previously covered by this collection
was shared with Ginnie Mae for its
applicants. It is also approved under
2503–0033. The application form in this
collection has been revised to only
cover FHA lender approval applicants
