Procedural
This meeting will be open to the
public. All persons entering the
building will have to present
identification and may be subject to
screening. Please note that the meeting

The public will not be able to make
oral presentations during the meeting.
The public may file written statements
with the committee; written material
should reach the Coast Guard no later
than January 14, 2009. If you would like

Coast Guard, DHS.
Notice of meetings.
SUMMARY: The Houston/Galveston
Navigation Safety Advisory Committee
(HOGANSAC) and its working groups
will meet in Houston, Texas to discuss
waterway improvements, aids to
navigation, area projects impacting
safety on the Houston Ship Channel,
and various other navigation safety
matters in the Galveston Bay area. All
meetings will be open to the public.
DATES: The Committee will meet on
Thursday, February 5, 2009 from 9 a.m.
to 12 p.m. The Committee’s working
groups will meet on Thursday, January
22, 2009 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. These
meetings may close early if all business
is finished. Written material and
requests to make oral presentations
should reach the Coast Guard on or
before January 29, 2009. Requests to
have a copy of your materials
distributed to each member of the
committee or working group should
reach the Coast Guard on or before
January 22, 2009.

The Department of Homeland
Security, U.S. Citizenship and
Immigration Services (USCIS) has
submitted the following information
collection request to the Office of
Management and Budget (OMB) for
review and clearance in accordance
with the Paperwork Reduction Act of
1995. The information collection was
previously published in the Federal
Register on August 27, 2008, at 73 FR
50633 allowing for a 60-day public
comment period. USCIS did not receive
any comments for this information
collection.
The purpose of this notice is to allow
an additional 30 days for public
comments. Comments are encouraged
and will be accepted until January 30,
2009. This process is conducted in
accordance with 5 CFR 1320.10.
Written comments and/or suggestions
regarding the item(s) contained in this
notice, especially regarding the
estimated public burden and associated
response time, should be directed to the
