This law and regulation prohibit discrimination on the basis of age in programs and activities receiving federal financial assistance. The information collected and maintained by the recipients of EAC’s assistance is used internally by EAC for monitoring compliance with age discrimination laws and regulations. This information is made available to EAC officials, officials of other federal enforcement agencies, and to Congress for reporting purposes.
