The meeting will be open to the public. Because the meeting will be held in a secured facility, members of the public who plan to attend the meeting must contact the Office of Financial Education at 202–622–1783 or FinancialLiteracyCouncil@do.treas.gov by 5 p.m. Eastern Time on January 2, 2009, to inform the Department of their desire to attend the meeting and to provide the information that will be required to facilitate entry into the Main Department Building. SUMMARY: The OCC, as part of its continuing effort to reduce paperwork and respondent burden, invites the general public and other Federal agencies to take this opportunity to comment on a continuing information collection, as required by the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995. An agency may not conduct or sponsor, and a respondent is not required to respond to, an information collection unless it displays a currently valid OMB control PO 00000 Frm 00288 Fmt 4703 Sfmt 4703 number. The OCC is soliciting comment concerning its information collection titled, ‘‘Fiduciary Activities of National Banks—12 CFR part 9.’’ The OCC is also giving notice that it has submitted the collection to OMB for review. The OCC requests only that OMB approve its revised estimate of the burden and extend its approval of the information collection. Under 12 U.S.C. 92a, the OCC regulates the fiduciary activities of national banks, including the administration of collective investment funds. The requirements in 12 CFR part 9 enable the OCC to perform its responsibilities relating to the fiduciary activities of national banks and collective investment funds.
