4 p.m. to 7 p.m. The meeting will be

CA 95670. Interested parties can
provide oral and written comments at
the meetings. Interested parties may also
submit written comments on this notice.
Scoping comments should be submitted
before March 15, 2009 but may be
submitted at any time prior to
publication of the Draft EIS.

is tentatively scheduled for 30 minutes
beginning at 11:15 a.m.

Abstract: This is a request for the
Teacher Compensation Survey, which is
part of the system clearance for
cognitive, pilot, and field test studies.
This survey will collect data from
approximately 30 states on salary,
benefits and teaching experience of
public school teachers in the United
States. State Education Agencies will
submit this data electronically to the
National Center for Education Statistics
(NCES) through a secure Web site using
a predetermined record layout.
