The proposed rule would adopt, without change, the hearing procedures issued by the Department of the Treasury implementing administrative wage garnishment under the DCIA. This proposed rule would apply only to individuals who are not Federal employees. The proposed rule also would amend regulations on procedures for the collection of claims to conform DOT regulations to applicable provisions of the DCIA.
