SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: The FAA proposes to rule and invites public comment on the application to impose and use the revenue from a PFC at Chicago O’Hare International Airport under the provisions of the 49 U.S.C. 40117 and Part 158 of the Federal Aviation Regulations (14 CFR part 158). On September 16, 2008, the City of Chicago Department of Aviation submitted an application to impose and use revenues from a PFC at Chicago O’Hare International Airport. On October 16, 2008, the FAA determined that the application to VerDate Aug<31>2005 14:24 Nov 20, 2008 Jkt 217001 impose and use the revenue from a PFC submitted by City of Chicago Department of Aviation was not substantially complete within the requirements of section 158.25 of Part 158. The City of Chicago supplemented the application on October 29, 2008. The FAA will approve or disapprove the application, in whole or in part, no later than February 26, 2009. The following is a brief overview of the application. PFC application number: 08–21–C– 00–ORD. Proposed charge effective date: December 1, 2024. Proposed charge expiration date: February 1, 2026.
