The companies listed in this notice
have applied to the Board for approval,
pursuant to the Bank Holding Company
Act of 1956 (12 U.S.C. 1841 et seq.)
(BHC Act), Regulation Y (12 CFR Part
225), and all other applicable statutes
and regulations to become a bank
holding company and/or to acquire the
assets or the ownership of, control of, or
the power to vote shares of a bank or
bank holding company and all of the
banks and nonbanking companies
owned by the bank holding company,
including the companies listed below.
The applications listed below, as well
as other related filings required by the
Board, are available for immediate
inspection at the Federal Reserve Bank
indicated. The applications also will be
available for inspection at the offices of
the Board of Governors. Interested
persons may express their views in
writing on the standards enumerated in
the BHC Act (12 U.S.C. 1842(c)). If the
proposal also involves the acquisition of
a nonbanking company, the review also
includes whether the acquisition of the
nonbanking company complies with the
standards in section 4 of the BHC Act
(12 U.S.C. 1843). Unless otherwise
noted, nonbanking activities will be
conducted throughout the United States.

announces the following meeting of the
aforementioned committee:

Status: Open to the public, limited only by

Purpose: The Board of Scientific
Counselors, CCID, provides advice and
guidance to the Director, CDC, and Director,
CCID, in the following areas: program goals
and objectives; strategies; program
organization and resources for infectious
disease prevention and control; and program
priorities.
Matters to be Discussed: Agenda items will
include:
1. Breakout Group Discussions: Vaccine
Trust and Vaccine in Healthcare Workers
(National Center for Preparedness, Detection,
and Control of Infectious Diseases and
National Center for Immunization and
Respiratory Diseases). Discussion will be
how reports, statements and
recommendations of our established advisory
committees (Advisory Council for the
Elimination of Tuberculosis, CDC/HRSA
Advisory Committee) can be presented to the
Work Group and full committee most
efficiently and effectively (National Center
for HIV/AIDS, Viral Hepatitis, STD, and TB
Prevention, (NCHHSTP)). Program
Collaboration and Service Integration
(NCHHSTP) International Activities
(National Center for Zoonotic, Vector-Borne,
and Enteric Diseases, (NCZVED)). Peer
Reviews and Planning and New Technology
(NCZVED).
2. Antimicrobial Resistance (Full Board).
3. Budget and CCID/Office of the Director
Updates (Full Board).

Purpose: The Secretary, Department of
Health and Human Services (HHS), and, by

Control and Prevention (CDC), are authorized
under Section 301 (42 U.S.C. 241) and
Section 311 (42 U.S.C. 243) of the Public
Health Service Act (PHSA), as amended to:
develop and implement disease prevention
and control, environmental health, and
health promotion and health education
activities designed to improve the health of
the people of the United States. Under these
and additional PHSA and other authorities,
CDC acts by identifying and defining
preventable health problems; maintaining
active surveillance of diseases through
epidemiologic and laboratory investigations
and data collection, analysis, and
distribution; conducting operational research
aimed at developing and testing effective
