AGENCY: SUMMARY: The Mobile District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (Corps) intends to prepare a Draft Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) to address the potential impacts associated with permitting construction of a dam and reservoir along Murder Creek in Conecuh County, AL. Evaluation of the proposed project via an EIS will proceed in compliance with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA). Upon completion of the EIS, the Corps will evaluate a permit application for the proposed work under the authority of Section 404 of the Clean Water Act.
