AGENCY: Office of Thrift Supervision (OTS), Treasury.

ACTION: Notice and request for comment.

SUMMARY: The proposed information collection request (ICR) described 
below has been submitted to the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) 
for review and approval, as required by the Paperwork Reduction Act of 
1995. OTS is soliciting public comments on the proposal.

SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: OTS may not conduct or sponsor an 
information collection, and respondents are not required to respond to

invite comments on the following information collection.

Securities/Notice of Issuance of Subordinated Debt or Mandatorily

    Form Number: 1344 and 1561.
    Description: The information collection provides the OTS with 
necessary details to determine if the proposed issuance of securities 
will benefit the savings association or create unreasonable risks. If 
the information required were not collected, the OTS would not be able 
to properly evaluate whether the request to issue securities conforms 
to the applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.
    Type of Review: Extension of a currently approved collection.
