Description: The Federal Information
Security Management Act of 2002
requires all federal agencies to report
security incidents to a federal incident
response center, designated as the
United States Computer Emergency
Readiness Team (US–CERT). US–CERT
has created a web-based Incident
Reporting Form for all federal agencies,
organizations, private and commercial
companies, and individuals to submit
incidents to US–CERT’s security
operations center. In July of 2006, OMB
issued Memo M06–19 revising reporting
procedures to require all federal
agencies to report all incidents
involving personally identifiable
information (PII) to US–CERT within
one hour of discovering the incident.

closed to the public beginning October
20, 2008 at 12 p.m.

p.m. to 5:45 p.m., October 21, 2008,
from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and on October
22, 2008, from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

sensitive Homeland Security
information and classified matters
within the meaning of 5 U.S.C.
552b(c)(1) and (c)(9)(B) which, if
prematurely disclosed, would
significantly jeopardize national
security and frustrate implementation of
proposed agency actions.
