This includes an estimated burden cost
of $28,712 for labor and an estimated

maintenance and operational costs.
What is the Next Step in the Process for
This ICR?
EPA will consider the comments
received and amend the ICR as
appropriate. The final ICR package will
then be submitted to OMB for review
and approval pursuant to 5 CFR
1320.12. At that time, EPA will issue
another Federal Register notice
pursuant to 5 CFR 1320.5(a)(1)(iv) to
announce the submission of the ICR to
OMB and the opportunity to submit
additional comments to OMB. If you

Villages Program Grant Authorized by
the Clean Water Act and the EPA
Section of the Consolidated
Appropriations Act, 2008’’ and the
accompanying grant guidelines. These
documents describe how EPA will
award and administer the 2008 Alaska
Rural and Native Villages Program Grant
as authorized by Section 113a of the
Clean Water Act (33 U.S.C. 1263a) and
the Agency’s FY 2008 Consolidated
Appropriations Act (Pub. L. 110–161).
The Consolidated Appropriations Act,
2008, provides budget authority for
funding the Alaska Rural and Native
Villages Program that assists
communities with the rehabilitation or
construction of drinking water and
wastewater systems and also training
and technical assistance in the
operations and maintenance of these
systems. The grant guidelines will not
be reissued annually. The grant
recipient, the State of Alaska, will
receive a copy of this notice, the
memorandum, and a copy of the grant
guidelines from EPA.
