after the end of each quarter. Two
copies are to be submitted providing a
detailed account of activities
undertaken during that quarter. DOL
may require additional data elements to
be collected and reported on either a
regular basis or special request basis.
Grantees must agree to meet DOL
reporting requirements. The quarterly
progress report should be in narrative
form and should include:
1. In-depth information on
accomplishments, including project
success stories, upcoming grant
activities, and promising approaches
and processes.
2. Progress toward performance
outcomes, including updates on
product, curricula, and training
development.
Quarterly financial reports, quarterly
performance reports, and quarterly
narrative reports will all be provided
electronically.
Final Report. A final report must be
submitted no later than 60 days after the
expiration date of the grant. This report
must summarize project activities,
employment outcomes, and related
results of the training project, and
should thoroughly document capacity
building and training approaches. The
final report should also include copies
of all deliverables, e.g., curricula and
competency models. Three copies of the
final report must be submitted to ETA,
and grantees must agree to use a
designated format specified by DOL for
preparing the final report. A Closeout
Financial Status Report is due 90 days
after the end of the grant period.
Record Retention. Applicants should
be aware of Federal guidelines on record
retention, which require grantees to
maintain all records pertaining to grant
activities for a period of not less than 3
years from the time of final grant
closeout.
