Average Hours per Response: 30
minutes.
Needs and Uses: United States (U.S.)
vessels that fish on the high seas are
required to possess a permit issued
under the High Seas Fishing
Compliance Act. The applicants must
submit information to identify their
vessels and intended fishing activities.
The information is used to process
applications and maintain a register of
U.S. vessels authorized to fish on the
high seas.
Affected Public: Business or other forprofit organizations.
