soliciting public comments to permit
the Department to:
• Evaluate whether the proposed
information collection is necessary for
the proper performance of our
functions.

methodology and assumptions used.
• Enhance the quality, utility, and
clarity of the information to be
collected.

ECA’s Exchange Visitor (J–1 Visa)
Program (EVP). This information will
allow ECA to assess and improve the
EVP program, ensure that sponsors
comply with the appropriate statutes
and regulations, and assess participant
and host satisfaction with their EVP
exchange experience.
Methodology: Data collected through
the information collection will be
derived primarily from respondent webbased surveys, and, secondarily, from
personal interviews and/or focus
groups, and site visits, as necessary.

objects to be included in the exhibition
‘‘Landscapes Clear and Radiant: The Art
of Wang Hui (1632–1717),’’ imported
from abroad for temporary exhibition
within the United States, are of cultural
significance. The objects are imported
pursuant to loan agreements with the
foreign owners or custodians. I also
determine that the exhibition or display
of the exhibit objects at the Metropolitan
Museum of Art from on or about
September 8, 2008, until on or about
January 4, 2009, and at possible
additional exhibitions or venues yet to
be determined, is in the national
