(4) Affected public who will be asked or required to respond, as well as a brief abstract: Primary: Individuals and households. The Form I–600 is used by the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) to determine whether an alien is an eligible orphan. Form I– 600A is used to streamline the procedure for advance processing of orphan petitions. (5) An estimate of the total number of respondents and the amount of time estimated for an average respondent to respond: 34,000 responses at 30 minutes (.50) per response. (6) An estimate of the total public burden (in hours) associated with the collection: 17,000 annual burden hours.
