SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION:
History
The FAA published this direct final
rule with a request for comments in the
Federal Register on February 21, 2008
(73 FR 9445) to modify Class E airspace
and restore previously published
airspace descriptions at Wilkes-Barre,
PA. After publication, it was discovered
that the airport reference point
coordinates of the Wyoming Valley
Medical Center and the Community
Medical Center Airports had minor
errors. This action corrects those errors.
Confirmation of Effective Date
The FAA uses the direct final
rulemaking procedure for a
noncontroversial rule where the FAA
believes that there will be no adverse
public comment. This direct final rule
advised the public that no adverse
comments were anticipated, and that
unless a written adverse comment, or a
written notice of intent to submit such
an adverse comment, were received
within the comment period, the
regulation would become effective on
April 10, 2008. It further advised that a
confirmation docket would be
published in the Federal Register
confirming the effective date. This
docket completes that requirement. No
adverse comments were received, and
thus this notice confirms that effective
date.
Correction
Pursuant to the authority delegated to
me, the publication in the Federal
Register dated February 21, 2008 (73 FR
9445), Federal Register Docket No.
