surety on Federal bonds is hereby
issued under 31 U.S.C. 9305 to the

Certificates of Authority expire on
June 30th each year, unless revoked
prior to that date. The Certificates are
subject to subsequent annual renewal as
long as the companies remain qualified
(see 31 CFR part 223). A list of qualified
companies is published annually as of
July 1st in the Circular, which outlines
details as to the underwriting
limitations, areas in which companies
are licensed to transact surety business,
and other information.

SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: Notice is
hereby given that the Certificate of
Authority issued by the Treasury to the
above-named company under 31 U.S.C.
9305 to qualify as acceptable surety on
Federal bonds was terminated effective
February 25, 2008. Federal bondapproving officials should annotate
their reference copies of the Treasury
Department Circular 570 (‘‘Circular’’),
2007 Revision, to reflect this change.
With respect to any bonds currently
in force with this company, bondapproving officers may let such bonds
run to expiration and need not secure
new bonds. However, no new bonds
should be accepted from this company,
and bonds that are continuous in nature
should not be renewed.

The Department of Veterans Affairs
(VA) gives notice under Public Law 92–
463 (Federal Advisory Committee Act)
that a meeting of the Advisory
Committee on Structural Safety of
Department of Veterans Affairs
Facilities will be held on June 26–27,
2008 in Room 442, Export-Import Bank,
811 Vermont Avenue, NW.,
Washington, DC. The June 26 session
will be from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m., and the
June 27 session will be from 8:30 a.m.
until 12:30 p.m. The meeting is open to
the pubic.
The purpose of the Committee is to
advise the Secretary of Veterans Affairs
on matters of structural safety in the
construction and remodeling of VA
facilities and to recommend standards
for use by VA in the construction and
alteration of its facilities.
On June 26, the Committee will
review developments in the fields of fire
safety issues and structural design as
they relate to seismic and other natural
hazards impact on the safety of
buildings. On June 27, the Committee
will receive appropriate briefings and
presentations on current seismic,
natural hazards and fire safety issues
that are particularly relevant to facilities
owned and leased by the Department.
The Committee will also discuss
appropriate structural and fire safety
recommendations for inclusion in VA’s
standards.
No time will be allocated for receiving
oral presentations from the public.
However, the Committee will accept
written comments. Comments should be
