Culturally Significant Objects Imported
for Exhibition Determinations: ‘‘Art of
Two Germanys/During the Cold War’’
SUMMARY: Notice is hereby given of the
following determinations: Pursuant to
the authority vested in me by the Act of
October 19, 1965 (79 Stat. 985; 22 U.S.C.
2459), Executive Order 12047 of March
27, 1978, the Foreign Affairs Reform and
Restructuring Act of 1998 (112 Stat.
2681, et seq.; 22 U.S.C. 6501 note, et
seq.), Delegation of Authority No. 234 of
October 1, 1999, Delegation of Authority
No. 236 of October 19, 1999, as
amended, and Delegation of Authority
No. 257 of April 15, 2003 [68 FR 19875],
I hereby determine that the objects to be
included in the exhibition ‘‘Art of Two
Germanys/During the Cold War’’,
imported from abroad for temporary
exhibition within the United States, are
of cultural significance. The objects are
imported pursuant to loan agreements
with the foreign owners or custodians.
I also determine that the exhibition or
display of the exhibit objects at the Los
Angeles County Museum of Art, from on
or about January 25, 2009, until on or
about April 19, 2009, and at possible
additional exhibitions or venues yet to
be determined, is in the national
interest. Public Notice of these
Determinations is ordered to be
published in the Federal Register.

Determinations is ordered to be
published in the Federal Register.

Appropriations Act, 2008, Relating to
Assistance to the Democratic Republic
of Congo, Liberia, and Somalia
Pursuant to section 612 of the
Department of State, Foreign
Operations, and Related Programs
Appropriations Act, 2008 (Div. J, Pub. L.
110–161) (the Act), Executive Order
12163, as amended by Executive Order
13346, and Delegation of Authority 245,
I hereby determine that assistance to the
Democratic Republic of Congo, Liberia,
and Somalia is in the national interest
of the United States and thereby waive,
with respect to these countries, the
application of section 612 of the Act.
This determination shall be reported
to Congress and published in the
Federal Register.

ACTION: Notice of intent of waiver with
respect to land.
AGENCY:
SUMMARY: The FAA is publishing notice
of proposed release of 0.02 acres of land
at the Lynchburg Regional Airport,
Campbell County, Virginia to the
Virginia Department of Transportation
for the Improvement of U.S. Route 29.
There are no impacts to the Airport and
the land is not needed for airport
development as shown on the Airport
Layout Plan. Fair Market Value of the
land will be paid to the Airport
Sponsor, and used for Airport purposes.
DATES: Comments must be received on
or before June 12, 2008.
