No. 257 of April 15, 2003 [68 FR 19875],
I hereby determine that three objects to
be added to a Salvador Dali exhibition
(now entitled ‘‘Dali: Painting and
Film’’), imported from abroad for
temporary exhibition within the United
States, are of cultural significance.
These objects are imported pursuant to
loan agreements with the foreign owners
or custodians. I also determine that the
exhibition or display of the exhibit
objects at the Museum of Modern Art in
The Joan and Preston Robert Tisch
Gallery, New York, NY, from on or
about June 29, 2008, until on or about
September 15, 2008, and at possible
additional exhibitions or venues yet to
be determined, is in the national
interest.
These three objects will be added to
those covered by the Dali & Film’’
exhibition Determinations published at
72 FR 49,345–6 (Aug. 28, 2007).
Public Notice of these Determinations
is ordered to be published in the
Federal Register.
