Although non-emergency issues not contained in this agenda may come before this group for discussion, those issues may not be the subject of formal action during this meeting. (BPXA) for an Incidental Harassment Authorization (IHA) to take marine mammals incidental to a 3D, ocean bottom cable (OBC) seismic survey in the Liberty Prospect, Beaufort Sea, Alaska in 2008. Pursuant to the Marine Mammal Protection Act (MMPA), NMFS is requesting comments on its proposal to issue an IHA to BPXA to incidentally take, by harassment, small numbers of several species of marine mammals between July and October, 2008, during the aforementioned activity.
