Abstract: Claimants who wish to waive VA disability benefits in order to receive active or inactive duty training pay are require to complete VA Forms 21–8951 and 21–8951–2. Active and inactive duty training pay cannot be paid concurrently with VA disability compensation or pension benefits. Claimants who elect to keep training pay must waive VA benefits for the number of days equal to the number of days in which they received training pay. Affected Public: Individuals or households.
