Planned agenda topics include: Manager updates on current land management issues including; presentations and discussions on the oil and gas leases in San Luis Valley, alternative energy proposals in San Luis Valley, Term Permit Renewals—status and progress on May 20. On May 21 agenda topics include a field trip to Penitente Canyon Special Recreation Management Area, La Garita Wetlands and Grazing Allotment, Elephant Rocks Area of Critical Environmental Concern. The petition was filed on time and was accompanied by all the rentals due since the date the lease terminated under the law. District Resource Advisory Council (RAC), will meet as indicated below.

DATES: The RAC will next meet in Malad, Idaho on June 4, 2008 and in 
Preston, Idaho June 5, 2008. The meeting will being at the BLM/FS Malad
